(Regulated Healthcare practice – GosC registered)
Nicolet Valentin, M.Ost
Founder of RootKindLife
I practise osteopathy in accordance with the standards and scope of practice set by the General Osteopathic Council (GosC, UK). Osteopathic care focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal conditions, with attention to how structure and function interact within the body.
My osteopathic approach is evidence-informed, person-centred, and grounded in careful clinical reasoning. Treatment is tailored to the individual and may include a combination of hands-on techniques, exercise advice, and discussion aimed at supporting physical function and ease where appropriate.
Osteopathic care may include:
- Hands-on techniques to support mobility and reduce physical tension
- Gentle soft-tissue and joint-based approaches
- Postural and ergonomic guidance
- Advice to support ease and movement in daily movement
- Assessment, management, and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries
My role is to assess your individual needs, work within an established osteopathic scope and standards, and support physical function and wellbeing where appropriate.
Where your needs fall outside the scope of osteopathic care, I will advise accordingly and signpost to the appropriate healthcare professional.
